Renee Jernigan is a chemist by day and a dedicated yoga instructor (RYT-200) by night, blending analytical precision with soulful movement. Her teaching style is rooted in empowerment, inviting students to experience joy, ease, and play—whether they’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or deepening a lifelong practice.
Renee’s approach transcends traditional yoga, weaving together movement, mindfulness, and mobility to support real-life resilience and inner clarity.
Based in Birmingham, Alabama, she teaches weekly at a local weightlifting and conditioning gym, where she bridges strength and softness, breath and effort. Her classes are a space to explore, reflect, and grow—with laughter always welcome and handstands optional.
